This page explains what information Discount Deals 4U collects on discountdeals4u.ca, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. It covers orders, accounts, and the contact form.
When you place an order, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, shipping address, and what you bought. If you create an account, we also keep your login and order history so you can see past purchases. If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we keep a record of that conversation so we can help you.
We take credit and debit card payments through WooCommerce Payments, which is powered by Stripe. Your card number goes straight from your browser to the payment processor. We never see or store full card details on our site, and they don’t pass through our servers.
We use cookies and session data the way most online stores do: to remember what’s in your cart, to keep you signed in, and to understand how people use the site so we can improve it. Our payment processor sets its own cookies when you check out. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but parts of the site, like the cart, won’t work well without them.
We use your details to fill orders, arrange shipping, answer support questions, and send order updates by email, like confirmations and tracking numbers. We don’t sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we don’t use it for marketing you haven’t asked for.
We share data only with the services that run this store, and each one gets only what it needs: WooCommerce runs the shop, WooCommerce Payments processes card payments, ClickShip books shipping with our carriers (Canada Post, GLS, and UPS), WP Mail SMTP delivers our emails through SpaceMail, Contact Form 7 powers the contact form, and the site is built with Elementor and hosted on EasyWP. Each of these services handles your data only to provide its part of the service.
We keep order records as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes, and to answer questions about an order. When we no longer have a reason to keep personal data, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Under Canada’s PIPEDA you have the right to access and correct your personal information. Email support@discountdeals4u.ca and we’ll help.
